Created in celebration of Singapore National Day, 9 August.

“Sing-Singapore” reflects the spirit, stories, and shared pride of Singapore.

The lyrics are inspired by the spirit and themes of well-known speeches by Singapore’s founding father and first Prime Minister, the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

The video respectfully features Singapore’s statues, public art, monuments, architecture, and landmarks.

These places can all be found across Singapore — some are obvious, others are hidden in plain sight.

Locations and inspirations include: CBD, Kampong Glam, Esplanade, Gardens by the Bay, Botanic Gardens, East Coast, Joo Chiat, Bedok, and Changi Point.

I hope this encourages families, students, and visitors to discover these places, explore their stories, and bring Singapore’s history — and its speeches — to life.

Learn the lyrics, sing together, stronger together — Sing Singapore!
